Sous Chef - Full-Time

$82,800 Annual Salary + 12% Super 

• Premium corporate boardroom centre and café environment based in Brisbane CBD
• Full time Position Monday to Friday - Take back your weekends

THE POSITION

• Prepare and present high-quality food for premium boardroom dining, meetings, events and café service
• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
• Deliver professional, polished service and engage confidently with clients and guests
• Support premium functions, executive catering and café production with consistency and attention to detail
• Assist with menu execution, stock control, ordering and waste management
• HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
• General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

THE PERSON

• Minimum Cert III Chef trade qualification, with proven sous chef or senior chef experience
• Experience in premium corporate hospitality, high-end restaurants or five-star hotels highly regarded
• Highly organised, hands-on and capable of supporting a small professional kitchen team
• Strong eye for presentation, flavour, quality and consistency across both boardroom and café offerings
• Comfortable working across executive catering, premium functions, café-style service and daily production
• Confident in OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
• Professional, reliable and flexible to support morning, daytime and occasional evening requirements
