Sous Chef - Full-Time

$80,000 Annual Base + 12% Superannuation 

• Monday - Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm hours(occasional weekend work)
• Great Brisbane CBD location
• No Public Holidays

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Sous Chef to lead a premium corporate catering operation in the heart of Brisbane. This Full-Time role is perfect for a Sous Chef who thrives in a professional, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-end dining experiences. 

You’ll be leading culinary operations for a prestigious corporate client, focusing on fine dining, executive catering, and polished corporate events—Monday to Friday, with occasional evening functions.

The Position:

• Food preparation and cooking
• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
• Friendly customer service
• Function work and large volume cooking
• Stocktake and control
• HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
• General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

The Person:

• Minimum Cert III Chef trade qualification
• An understanding of Café style food advantageous
• Highly organised and energetic hands on leader
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating with food safety and allergen management compliance.
• Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable
• Confident in OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
• Willing to work mornings and evenings
