Restaurant Associates are a team of world class hospitality and fine-cuisine professionals, delivering contemporary food solutions and service across leading corporations and iconic venues across Australia.

The Position

• Providing leadership support to Head Chefs delivering exceptional catering service across corporate sites in the CBD
• Assist with stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring & training
• Ensure all OH&S compliance is achieved
• Ensuring all catering controls are in place and wastage is kept to the minimum
• Strong emphasis on modern, wellbeing, inspired menus with a focus on visual presentation. 
• Maintain efficient operations across multi services and liaising with multiple clients and key stakeholders across the business

The Person

• Qualified Chef with Cert III in Commercial Cookery or above
• Experience at Sous Chef level in a corporate catering or high end functions environment
• Attention to detail and great time management
• Comfortable working across multiple sites in the Sydney CBD where required
• Have a genuine passion for using sustainable practices and local produce 
• A high level of commercial acumen & Proficiency in applications of Microsoft 365
• Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
