THE POSITION

  • Simpson Barracks
  • Part Time role 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible with start/finish time
  • No weekends or public holidays
  • Specifically responsible for overseeing cleaning and accommodation services
  • Free Onsite Parking
  • Working autonomously on different responsibilities

THE PERSON

The preferred applicant will be required to achieve a Defence Baseline Security Clearance and pass an Australian Federal Police check prior to confirmation of employment

  • Hold full Australian Citizenship due to the secure nature of the site
  • Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable transportation to get to the base
  • Knowledge and experience of Public Private Partnerships (PPP), hotel chain style operational management or Defence Garrison Support Services would be highly advantageous
  • Experience in a similar position as a cleaner or housekeeper
  • Chemical handling experience is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work is essential
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • An intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office suite is essential.
  • Participate in an after-hours On Call roster
  • A positive and friendly attitude
