Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels.

THE POSITION

• Capable of working independently while also leading, delegating, and managing team members effectively.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings, and adapt to varying schedules as required.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to engage with guests and collaborate with internal teams.
• Assist with function setup, service (including food and beverages), and efficient pack down of events. Provide excellent guest service, handle basic inquiries, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure high standards of food safety, cleanliness, dishwashing, and overall upkeep of service areas.

THE PERSON

• Current Working with children's check, or ability to obtain
• Experience leading and directing a team to present high quality food and beverages
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong computer literacy
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
