For AO26, we’re looking for Waste Management Team Members to play a crucial role in keeping Melbourne Park clean, safe, and sustainable. This is a hands-on role, perfect for those who aren’t afraid of hard work and want to be part of the action at one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

The Role

• Collect and remove rubbish, recycling, and organics across event spaces

• Handle waste bins, compaction equipment, and assist with site cleanliness

• Ensure correct waste separation and disposal, supporting AO’s sustainability goals

• Complete repetitive, physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and walking across large sites

• Work closely with logistics and back-of-house teams to maintain a clean and efficient precinct

About You

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for long shifts

• Previous experience in cleaning, labouring, or waste management is useful – but not essential

• Reliable, punctual, and ready to take direction

• Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail

• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
