Salary: $87,000 - $90,000 + 12% Superannuation + allowances

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

We are seeking locals to join our support services team based in Karratha.

This is a Full Time role and is ideal for individuals residing locally who are looking for consistent work in a dynamic village environment across a variety of rosters.

THE POSITION

As an Attendant – Cleaner, you will support the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the village across multiple service areas. This may include housekeeping, cleaning, and kitchen support, requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to service excellence.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and maintaining accommodation rooms and communal areas
• Housekeeping duties including bed making, linen changeovers, and restocking amenities
• General cleaning duties (floors, bathrooms, common areas)
• Assisting in kitchens as required, including basic food preparation and service support
• Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment and workspaces
• Waste management and disposal
• Supporting village operations across different shifts as required

THE PERSON

• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
• Physically active role requiring manual work
• Availability to work various rosters, including days and nights
• Own accommodation (no onsite accommodation provided)
• Flexibility to work across housekeeping, cleaning, and kitchen environments
• Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, hygiene, and quality service
• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, catering or similar roles is desirable but not essential
