Catering Assistant – Casual | Brisbane and its surrounding areas

• $25.86 per hour + 25% casual loading
• Monday to Friday, daytime shifts (some evenings)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Catering Assistant to join our busy kitchen team in Brisbane casual pool. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great food and service.

The Position:

• Assist with daily food preparation and service
• Provide welcoming and efficient hospitality service in dining facilities
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other fresh menu items
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
• Support kitchen operations in high-volume periods
• Manage stock and minimise waste

Location

This role supports multiple sites across:
Brisbane | Sunshine Coast |Gold Coast | Ipswich | Toowoomba

Ability to travel to multiple sites (either public or own transport)

The Person:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Catering Assistant or in a similar role
• Experience in high-volume catering environments
• Must hold or be able to obtain a National Police Check and Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
• Good food preparation and presentation skills
• Intermediate knowledge of food safety and food handling
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
