THE POSITION

• We are currently seeking a Catering Assistant to work within our Long Bay Hospital team based in Malabar
• This role will form part of face paced kitchen team that delivers high volume, bulk catering to the patients
• Stock rotation and stock control
• Ensuring to follow all health and safety procedures when caring out all tasks
• Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard
• Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Site Manager
• Maintain cleanliness and provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming style of service to customers
• $36.33 payrate is inclusive of casual loading

THE PERSON

• Experience essential. Basic food preparation skills with knowledge of food allergens.
• Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
• NPC  -  hold a National Police Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• WWCC  -  hold a Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain this)
