Casual Catering Assistant

$25.86/h – $30/h plus 25% casual loading plus superannuation

With business expanding in our Restaurant Associates portfolio, great role has risen for a Catering Assistant at our progressive technology client’s new premises in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

THE POSITION

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food for corporate catering menus
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas
• Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Receive, unpack, and organise stock deliveries and supplies
• Adhere to food safety and WHS standards in line with company protocols
• Support the Unit Manager with daily on-site operations
• Deliver excellent customer service and actively engage with clients

THE PERSON

• Strong experience in catering assistance roles - major part of the position
• Outgoing, creative and a bold thinker with strong organisational skills
• Strong eye for finishing presentation, styling, pattering
• Great energy, flexible approach and immaculate presentation
• Food & Beverage and barista/coffee-making knowledge are highly desirable
• You hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
