Chef

$28.12 per hour + 11.5% super

  • Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm

  • Located at Loreto College – Early Learning Centre

  • School holidays off, with the option to pick up extra shifts if desired

Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels.

THE POSITION

  • Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students 
  • Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
  • Monitor stock and minimize wastage
  • Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
  • Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation

THE PERSON

  • Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
  • Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
  • Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
  • Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
  • Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
