$30.59 Per/hour + Penalty Rates + 12% Super

• Location: Take your culinary career to new heights across the road from the Brisbane Airport
• Enjoy a predominantly Monday to Friday roster (6:00am - 2:00pm), with occasional evenings and weekends

THE POSITION

• Assisting and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation ensuring that the food you offer at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials.
• Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
• Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered too
• Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control
• Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided

THE PERSON

• Chef's Trade Qualifications
• A comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations and exciting latest food trends
• Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate to juniors & senior members of staff
• An applied knowledge and passion for understanding OHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations
• Previous experience in cafes an asset
• Willing to apply for a Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and National Police Check
