Join the Culinary team at Flight Centre with stunning Brisbane city views. Enjoy a full-time, Monday to Friday roster (occasional Saturdays) and opportunities for creative menu development and career growth!

The Position:

• Assist in daily food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring high standards across menus and specials.
• Support allergy awareness and adhere to food safety guidelines.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Implement catering controls, minimize food wastage, and optimize kitchen efficiency.
• Demonstrate leadership by guiding and supporting junior team members, fostering a collaborative kitchen culture.
• Predominantly Monday to Friday schedule (85% weekdays) with mainly daytime shifts and some evening work.
• Full-time, approximately 40-45 hours per week.
• Opportunity for growth within the business and to develop leadership skills in a small, operational team.

The Person

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Strong à la carte, events, and functions experience.
• Knowledge of OH&S compliance and safe work practices.
• Ability to contribute to menu development with fresh, local ingredients.
• Awareness of allergens, dietary requirements, and modern cooking techniques.
• Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
