Collaborate within a dedicated team in a unique Defence environment as a part-time Chef at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA), Canberra. This role is ideal for chefs who enjoy bulk cooking and take pride in quality, flavour, and presentation, supported by strong systems, training, and a positive team culture.

The Position:
• Part-time role with weekend shifts and additional function hours as required
• Prepare high-quality buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and events
• Maintain catering standards while ensuring OH&S, HACCP, and waste reduction practices
• Support kitchen operations including stock control, deliveries, and cold room monitoring
• Deliver consistent quality and service in a fast-paced, structured environment

The Person:
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Previous experience in commercial kitchens, restaurants, or function catering
• Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and allergen management
• Passion for quality food with strong attention to detail and presentation
• Reliable, team-focused, and committed to delivering excellent outcomes
