$35.00 Per Hour + Penalty Rates + 12% Superannuation

The Position: 

• Assisting in daily food preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes across menus and specials to a high standard.
• Supporting allergy awareness and strictly following food safety and OH&S guidelines.
• Delivering consistently high-quality food and service in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Helping to implement catering controls, minimize food waste, and improve kitchen efficiency.
• Must be available Tuesday and Saturdays 
• Working approximately 25 to 30 hours per week, extra hours during peak periods, and time off over Christmas and New Year.
• Being part of a dynamic, ever-changing environment where no two days are the same.

The Person

• Holds a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Has strong experience in à la carte service, as well as events and functions.
• Demonstrates sound knowledge of OH&S and safe work practices.
• Shows creativity and initiative in contributing to menu development using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Has a solid understanding of dietary requirements, allergens, and modern cooking techniques.
• Displays strong leadership skills, particularly in high-pressure, customer-focused environments.
• Communicates clearly, works well in a team, and is confident in teaching and supporting other team members.
