Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels.

THE POSITION

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
• Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
• Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation

THE PERSON

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher) and a current Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
• Experience preparing bulk meals in busy kitchens, ideally in education, aged care, or similar settings
• Strong knowledge of allergen management, food safety, and nutrition
• Ability to manage time, meet meal deadlines, and work both independently and in a small team
• Passion for delivering healthy, high-quality food in a fast-paced environment
