The Position

1. Prepare and deliver fresh, high-quality meals for school students and events
2. Lead daily kitchen operations while maintaining safety and quality standards
3. Mentor and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive, service-focused culture
4. Ensure full OH&S compliance, following safe work practices and food handling procedures
5. Manage stock levels and ordering to meet budget requirements
6. Support training and development of apprentices and junior chefs
7. Opportunity to be a part of a school community with work life balance

The Person

1. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
2. Experience as a Chef 
3. Skilled in bulk cooking with a strong focus on quality and presentation
4. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and food safety knowledge
5. A team player who can also work independently
6. Obtain a Blue Card (paid)
