ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high quality meals that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Holsworthy Super Mess. This part-time role is ideal for chefs looking for stable hours and a supportive team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare meals in a bulk cooking environment
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Support stock control and kitchen operations
• Ensure quality, portion control and presentation
• Work as part of a team during service periods

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Experience in commercial kitchens or catering environments
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Reliable with a team focused approach
