The Position:

  • Prepare, cook, and present food for café, kiosks, and catered events.
  • Ensure high quality and consistency across all dishes.
  • Manage your section during service with high efficiency.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with food ordering.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team for smooth operations.
  • Mentor junior chefs and apprentices to foster skill development.
  • Contribute to menu planning and daily specials. [1, 2]

The Person:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or senior cook.
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to perform well in high-volume environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passionate about fresh, seasonal ingredients and sustainability.
  • Committed to continuous professional growth.
