About the Role
Plan, supervise, and monitor food production for retail catering, functions and events
Maintain effective customer and client relationships
Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training both FOH and BOH staff
Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
Ensure contract compliance is met through an understanding of the scope of work required
Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
About You
Experienced Chef Manager with a Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery
Experienced in cafe style retail and functions catering
Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
Able to work Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend function or event
A basic understanding of food + labour costs & proficiency in applications of Microsoft 365
Strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead and mentor teams both back and front of house
