Medirest provides specialist food, hospitality and support services to residents and patients in hospitals and senior living facilities. THE POSITION

• Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings
• Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating as well as allergens and dietary requirements
• Ensure all OH&S compliance is achieved, and wastage is kept to a minimum
• Availability to work a minimum of 2-3 days a week with shift times of 6am-2pm 
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

THE PERSON

• HACCP Food handling experience
• Excellent knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
• Ability to work autonomously
• Cert III in Commercial Cookery 
• NPC + WWCC: hold or obtain a national police check and working with children check
