Chef - Casual 

• $36.82 Per Hour inclusive of 25% Casual Loading + 12% Superannuation + Penalties 
• Casual position based in Truganina
• Will require own transport - not near convenient public transport

THE POSITION

• Assisting and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation ensuring that the food you offer at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials.
• Assist in stock control, ordering and staff management 
• Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
• Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered to
• Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control.
• Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided.

THE PERSON

• Chef's Trade Qualifications
• Able to work autonomously and within a team. 
• Ability to work within budgets.
• A comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations and exciting latest food trends
• Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate to juniors & senior members of staff.
• An applied knowledge and passion for understanding OHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations.
