About the Role

As a Cleaning Attendant, you will play an important role in maintaining clean, safe and professional environments across Defence facilities.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning office spaces and work areas
• Maintaining common areas and amenities
• Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
• Waste removal and replenishment of consumables
• Ensuring facilities are presented to a high standard

Training and Security Clearance

• Successful candidates will undertake approximately one month of training at our other Defence sites, including Gallipoli Barracks, while obtaining their Baseline Security Clearance.
• Travel assistance may be available for employees required to travel to Gallipoli Barracks during this initial training period.
• Upon successful completion of training and clearance requirements, employees will transition to their permanent Brisbane CBD location.
• Working Hours : Day shift rosters with occasional opportunities to support after-hours cleaning requirements based on operational needs.

• Are dependable and punctual.
• Can obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
• Must be an Australian citizen to apply.
• Are flexible and willing to work across Defence locations during training.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
