ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. Due to anticipated growth, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Accountant.
The Position
Based in our Brisbane office, you will provide sound commercial support to our Offshore Remote business sector. This involves end of month and management reporting, contractual compliance and reviews, along with financial analysis of relevant portfolios. This is an opportunity to play a key role in consistently delivering and exceeding our client expectations.
• Accurate & timely month end closing processes • Client reporting and billing • Month end reconciliations • Site audits and contract compliance • Preparation of detailed Budgets and Forecasts • Assisting Internal & External Stakeholders
The Person
Accounting degree qualified
Progressing toward CA/CPA
Previous commercial accounting experience
Strong technical and analytical skills
Ability to problem solve, prioritise and multi-task
Intermediate skill level on Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail
Ability to comfortably communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Experience in ORACLE is also advantageous
