Based in our Sydney Support office located at McMahon’s Point, this role will see you responsible for the commercial ownership of a portfolio within our client base. The role involves end-to-end P&L ownership (revenues and costs), commercial analysis and budgeting and forecasting of the relevant portfolio. You will be required to engage with key internal and external stakeholders to understand the drivers of the business, explain variances against benchmarks and drive value to the organisation.

 A Day in the Life

• Complete end-to-end ownership and preparation of a portfolio of P&Ls
• Accurate & Timely Month End Closing Processes (reporting and providing commentary on performance)
• Client reporting and billing
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Site audits and visits
• Preparation of detailed Budgets and Forecasts
• Contract compliance
• Assisting Internal & External Stakeholders
• Identifying and communicate opportunities for improvement & process streamlining 
• Administration and ad-hoc duties including project work

The Person

• Accounting degree qualified and/or studying towards similar qualifications with similar field
• Previous experience within a business environment
• Sound technical and analytical skills
• Ability to problem solve, prioritise and multi-task
• Intermediate skill level on Excel
• Ability to comfortably communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Positive 'can-do' attitude, who can work autonomously in a team environment
• Dedicated, passionate and committed to progressing the performance of the portfolio
