Compass Group is the world’s largest catering and support services company. We are currently recruiting for a Senior People Services Advisor to join our National People Services Team, providing critical HR support to our many operations nation-wide.
The Position
A sought-after combination of HR business partnering with senior leaders & operational delivery.
Partner with the sector GM HR and assist with developing and implementing the HR strategy for the sector.
Supporting our line managers by providing customer-focused HR support and advice to managers that aligns and adheres to organisational policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
This includes award and agreement interpretation, policy advice, employee grievance support, performance management support, absence management and other HR generalist tasks.
Coach line managers on how to engage, develop, reward, and retain their employees.
Matrix reporting to eh Reporting to the HR People Services Manager, you will also contribute towards team HR projects.
Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure a seamless delivery to all stakeholders.
The Person
Qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Broad range of generalist HR experience, within a workforce that is unionised.
Demonstrable experience in Awards and Enterprise Agreements interpretation
Previous experience in grievances, performance management, and complaint investigation
Experience in navigating a variety of HRIS or HRMS and reporting systems.
Proactive, well organised, and can work autonomously in an unsupervised environment.
A broad range of influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
