Scots All Saints College is looking for a Cook to join our growing team!

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook to work Wednesday to Sunday, with applicable penalty rates to enjoy over the weekends

The Position

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
• Work with a small and supportive team
• Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
• Work largely within school hours, school term time and spend time where it counts - with family

The Person

• Working with Children Check is essential, or ability to obtain
• Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
• Superior knife handling skill 
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Experience in a similar position advantageous
• Eye for detail and great with time management
• Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently
