We’re seeking dedicated and reliable Driver/Admin to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. Reporting to the Transport Manager, successful applicants will be responsible for the coordination and fleet support for transportation of Defence personnel in response to operational requirements.

Role Location:

• HMAS Kuttabul
• HMAS Waterhen

Your responsibilities will include:  

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person.
• Manage transport bookings and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Coordinate vehicle loans, including handovers, returns, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records on Compass and Defence systems (DRN).
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and perform routine audits.
• Prepare transport quotes as required.

Vehicle & Operational Duties:

• Ensure vehicles are clean, fuelled, and ready for use.
• Coordinate servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Transport vehicles to and from service providers.
• Provide driving support for Defence personnel when required.

What we are looking for:

• Shuttle driver minimum class C license & working with vulnerable people license or willingness to obtain.
• A strong focus on safety and teamwork.  
• Good communication skills and reliability. 
• Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends if required.  
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance.  
• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
