We are seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join our team onsite at our corporate client in Sydney CBD.  This role is responsible for the successful coordination and event planning of functions, including initial enquiries, client liaison (internal and external) and dining operations whilst delivering the highest level of customer service.

THE POSITION

• Consult with key stakeholders (internal and external) to plan and coordinate events
• Facilitate the smooth running of events and functions
• Work co-operatively with operations and kitchen teams in regard to handing over functions to ensure seamless delivery
• Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback
• Working directly with preferred suppliers where required

THE PERSON

• Minimum 5 years experience in a function venue or similar environment
• Experience in FOH, room set up, menu planning and cost control
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• Proficiency in event management software and MS Office
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate

**Due to the nature of this role, a baseline background check will be completed prior to starting, therefore full time working rights and either residency or citizenship is a mandatory requirement**
