 The Position

• Plan, supervise, and monitor the culinary operations across multiple kitchens; residential-catering, functions, events and retail
• Maintain an overall knowledge and passion for nutrition and healthy eating
• Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
• Lead and inspire and manage a brigade of high performing culinary talents
• Maintain efficient operations across multi services while liaising closely with key stakeholders
• Engage with the client on functions, events and the general direction of the food offer that reflect the vision of our client
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
• Ensure contract compliance is met through an understanding of the scope of work required
• Monitor costs with special regard to portion control, waste minimisation and stock control in line with business requirements and agreed budgets

The Person

• A qualified Executive Chef with the experience necessary to run different types of services from large scale functions, degustations and curated event experiences to cafeteria style flair
• Be a passionate foodie and have an understanding of good nutrition and allergy awareness
• Be a positive, supportive, ambitious leader with experience in carrying out personal development plans, staff training sessions and appraisals
• Will be strong commercially with an eye for detail, quality, and presentation standards
• Develops effective relationships with individuals at all levels, from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and locations
• Is self-motivated and an excellent communicator with great attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise
• A high level of commercial acumen & Proficiency in applications of Microsoft 365
