We are seeking Trade Qualified Carpenters looking to join the DeltaFM team on a casual or full time basis. We have approximately 11 remote villages across regional WA. Flights are from Perth Airport. Swings are usually 14 Days at a time, with 12 hours a day (11 hours paid + 1 hour lunchbreak) = 154 Hour Swings. You’ll be working to keep our accommodation in top shape, camp and accommodation maintenance in remote mine site villages. Day Shift only. Opportunities available now with immediate start!
THE POSITION
Ensuring continuity of essential Building and Engineering services in a complex environments including Village, Housing & Mine Sites
Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, conforming to local building codes
Reactive maintenance and assisting other trades
Prioritise and attend to urgent requests
Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice
THE PERSON
Carpentry Trade Certificate III
Full C Class Drivers Licence + White Card
National Police Clearance within 12 months
Able to Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug + Alc screening
Access to Perth Airport for ongoing works
Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
