A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Technician (HVAC) to join our small but dynamic trades team and assist in the preventative and reactive maintenance of our villages in the Miles and surrounding regions.

The roster is 14/7 - 11 hour days and is FIFO from Brisbane or DIDO from Toowoomba and surrounding areas.

Flights ex Brisbane, accommodation and meals all included.

The Position

• Responding to breakdowns, preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs
• Responsible for preparing new installations of refrigerating systems
• Performing maintenance and repairs to defective equipment and testing components
• Performing pre-start inspections and keeping an audit report
• Fly in on your 1st work day and fly home early in the morning of your 1st R&R day)

The Person

• Current QLD trade qualification
• Full Refrigerant Handling Licence (endorsed RAC)
• A current C Class Drivers Licence
• Remote experience in the resources sector
• Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces
• QBCC licence
• Well versed in all maintenance processes and workplace health and safety regulations
• Be able to provide a current police check and drivers licence
