Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels.

THE POSITION

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events
• Managing the team to complete the set-up, catering and breakdown
• Ensuring a seamless guest experience from start to finish
• Liaise with management/client to ensure all event expectations are met
• Be the point of contact for any issues that may arise
• Maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the venue during events
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Engagement with students, staff and parents alike

THE PERSON

• Previous experience in a similar role
• A passion for food and delivering exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in leading a team
• Previous Barista and FOH experience highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of Food safety and allergen management
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain as well as RSA
• Familiarity with Microsoft office
