ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking reliable and motivated Food & Beverage Attendants / Kitchenhands to join our teams at RAAF Wagga (Forest Hill) and Blamey Barracks, Kapooka. These part-time roles are ideal for candidates looking for variety across customer service, food service and kitchen operations in a supportive team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with food preparation, meal service and kitchen support duties
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Support dining room and kitchen operations
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist with cleaning, dishwashing and general kitchen duties as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in hospitality, kitchen or food service preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable with flexible availability
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices preferred
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
