THE POSITION

• Coordinate the daily operations of patient meal services, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery.
• Oversee meal ordering, tray assembly, and distribution while maintaining high standards of food safety and dietary compliance.
• Support the food services team across kitchen, ward, and stores operations, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
• Maintain the electronic meal management system (e.g., CBORD or equivalent), ensuring accurate patient data and reporting.
• Assist in onboarding, training, and performance support for catering staff.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service delivery, waste management, and food safety compliance.

THE PERSON

• Proven team leadership experience within a hospital or healthcare food services environment.
• Strong knowledge of electronic meal management systems such as CBORD, Chefmax, or Delegate.
• Comprehensive understanding of dietary requirements and nutrition standards in a healthcare setting.
• Well-versed in HACCP principles, infection control, and food safety standards.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Must hold or be able to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
