We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join the CGA team on a full time basis
THE POSITION
Financial Planning and Forecasting: Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making. Monitor performance against financial targets and analyse variances.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. Reporting on key financial and non-financial metrics to Group will also be required.
Strategic Support: Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive business strategy and operational efficiency.
Budget Management: Assist with the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. Review and validate budget assumptions and outputs.
Financial Accounts: Prepare and maintain accurate financial monthly accounts for overhead departments including recommending cost control measures to deliver efficiencies
Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Compliance and Control: Ensure financial practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement and monitor controls to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
THE PERSON
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance analyst role
Bachelor’s degree (required) plus professional qualification/postgraduate studies in Finance (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA, CIMA)
Advanced excel, reporting and analysis skills essential
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and business partnering skills
Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
Experience with financial software and ERP systems
Proficiency with PowerPoint
Tableau or Powerbi experience preferable
