ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Housekeeping Supervisors to work on our remote accommodation villages in Middlemount, Moranbah and Moura Central Queensland. 

This role is 8 days on, 6 days off and is drive-in, drive-out, therefore locals are encouraged to apply.

The Position

• You will be responsible for leading a team within our housekeeping department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations
• You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside management to achieve desired results
• This is a physical, hands-on role, where you are expected to also work alongside the team

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role- Mine Site Cleaning experience will be highly regarded
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
