We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Manager – Key Accounts to oversee a key education contract in Geelong.

THE POSITION

This is a senior operational leadership position responsible for the overall performance, compliance, and commercial success of a multi-faceted catering contract. You will lead a large, diverse team delivering services across retail outlets, residential dining, functions, and off-site catering for camps and sporting programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic and operational leadership across two education sites
• Managing end-to-end catering operations including retail, residential dining, functions, and off-site service delivery
• Building strong, collaborative partnerships with client stakeholders to ensure service excellence and contract success
• Driving financial performance, KPI delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a workforce of approximately 50 team members
• Embedding a positive, high-performance culture focused on service, safety, and accountability
• Ensuring full compliance with food safety, allergen management, and environmental standards
• Identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and innovation

THE PERSON

You are a seasoned hospitality or catering professional with strong multi-site or large-scale operational experience. You bring a calm, solutions-focused leadership style and a genuine passion for developing people.

You will demonstrate:

• Proven senior hospitality or catering management experience (multi-site, hotels, large-scale venues, or institutional catering)
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and financial performance
• Extensive operational experience across catering, retail, and functions
• Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and allergen management practices
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills
• A people-centric leadership approach with experience leading large teams
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving capabilities
• A proactive, professional, and adaptable leadership style
• A current driver’s licence
