We are currently recruiting a Manager - People and Culture to support one of our Offshore & Remote, Healthcare or Defence portfolios across the country. These portfolios operate in complex, highly regulated and operationally critical environments, delivering essential services to remote mine sites and offshore facilities, hospitals and aged care settings, or defence and government contracts.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager – People, the Manager - People and Culture will provide strategic advice and business partnering to senior leaders and their teams. As a HR Business Partner, you will shape and deliver the organisational people plan aligned to operational, safety and commercial priorities.
This role is critical in ensuring the organisation attracts, develops and retains a high-performing workforce that delivers exceptional service in environments where reliability, compliance and care are paramount.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Steer the ‘big picture’ people strategy to ensure it drives business outcomes and supports sustainable growth
- Be a trusted coach, partner and mentor to peers and operational leaders on engagement, capability and performance
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and care across diverse and geographically dispersed teams
- Partner with leaders to develop and deliver talent strategies that support employee engagement, retention and career growth
- Collaborate with the broader People leadership team to design and execute HR initiatives that enhance engagement, retention, diversity and inclusion
- Provide leadership on strategic workforce planning to stabilise current operations and meet future workforce requirements
- Leverage HR systems, reporting and analytics to inform decision-making
- Contribute to and provide guidance on people strategies for new contract bids, mobilisations and transitions

- Demonstrated experience as a Senior HR Professional, building organisational capability within a commercial and operational framework
- Willingness to provide hands-on support and spend time embedded in the business, which may include travel to remote, healthcare or defence sites
- Sound understanding of industrial relations frameworks and their practical application
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline, with a commitment to ongoing learning
