Catering, Cleaning & Kitchen Responsibilities:

• Provide welcoming and efficient hospitality service in ADF mess halls and dining facilities
• Assist with basic food preparation, plating, and meal service
• Operate tills or support café service where required
• Wash, sanitise, and store crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashers and maintain clean kitchen environments
• Assist with stock rotation and storage
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and Defence security standards

 About you:

You may be suited to this role if you bring experience in fitness, aquatic services, hospitality, or facilities support, along with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

• Experience managing staff rosters, attendance, and performance (where applicable)
• No experience in catering, kitchen hand or hospitality
• Friendly, reliable, and professional with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in structured, high-compliance Defence environments
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport (some sites may require travel)
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence
• Australian Citizenship is mandatory (Defence security clearance required)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
