We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Perth team. If you’re passionate about accuracy, organisation, and working within a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!

THE POSITION

• Process payroll portfolio on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis
• Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurate
• Process Manual pays as required
• Maintain employee files/records
• Process Worker’s Compensation Payments
• Process Payroll payments for electronic transfer to COL
• Provide information to internal/external customers
• Produce fortnightly reports as required for the business
• Provide Support to Management
• Process jobs logged through internal Customer Service Package
• Award interpretation - report discrepancies to Team Leader
• Perform Leave Reconciliation’s as required
• Calculate and produce Termination payments when requested
• Maintain database integrity
• Compile and complete ABS/Government Agency forms
• Provide support to fellow team members as required
• Assist/Relieve Payroll Team Leader when required

THE PERSON

• Ability to process payrolls in excess of 500 employees
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Sound Payroll Knowledge
• Award Interpretation
• Excellent Organisational/Communication Skills
• Ability to work alone and also as a Team Member
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Good work ethic with attention to detail
• Knowledge of salary packaging
