THE POSITION

• During mobilisation work closely with the project mobilisation team to support employee transition, recruitment, on boarding and training of employees, and support the setup of people-systems and processes.
• Work closely with The New Footscray Hospital (NFH) People Operations Business Partner to support the people strategy & operations of Compass at the hospital.
• Provide HR support, including addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with performance management and investigations.
• Train, mentor, and coach managers, supervisors, and employees, while ensuring compliance with training administration and audits.
• Collaborate with the recruitment team on talent attraction and maintain a pipeline of new recruits.
• Analyse employee data, generate reports, and manage workers' comp claims in coordination with Compass Group's WHS team.

THE PERSON

• 2-3 years admin experience.
• HR experience and/or qualification is well regarded.
• Solid stakeholder engagement capabilities with a strong focus on building stakholder relationships.
• A strong communicator, able to interact at different levels across the organisation.
• Ability to develop simple project plans and deliver.
• Embraces, promotes, and adapts well to change.
• Passion for customer service.
