The Position:

• Facilitating compliance with the Compass Group Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management System and providing specialist advice and resources on health, safety, environment, and quality issues across the site
• Follow client and Compass health, safety, and security procedures.
• Manage the Compliance Pre-Approval (CPA) and Job Request Authorisation (JRA) and permit to work system to ensure compliance of all subcontractors and staff on site.
• This role will facilitate, review and implement end to end processes to ensure and improve compliance and safety across the site.
• Promote and maintain our safety culture by; Confronting risk and stopping unsafe work, ensuring compliance, encouraging the team, promoting risk awareness and involving the team
• Undertake routine precinct inspections of critical infrastructure to identify non-compliance and continual improvement
• Manage staff and subcontractor compliance portal.
• Organise and schedule onsite/offsite team training.
• Complete weekly, monthly and yearly monitoring and reporting
• Provide HSEQ Adviser support with the facilitation and/or participation in site specific meetings
• Facilitate quarterly compliance symposiums for specialist subcontractors

The Person

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate effective communication skills
• Able to work effectively with competing priorities 
• Experience managing training and compliance management systems
• Permit Compliance and Issuing
• Experience in navigating and interpretating legislation, codes of practice, awards and industrial agreements
• Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring HSE programs in a multi-service environment

• Cert IV in Training & Assessment
• Experience in Incident Reporting and Investigation

• Confined Space Entry Competency
• Work Safely at Heights Competency
