Qualified Gardener - Fly In Fly Out Cairns or Darwin
Key duties
Your role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and maintain golf course and associated grounds
Ensure the safe and correct operation of all machinery, equipment and work competently without direct supervision
Ensure machinery and associated equipment are cleaned, serviced and maintained as the maintenance checklists
Be confident in operating golf course machinery
You may be asked to work in other areas of the ESS camp, so the ability to be flexible and willing to learn is required.
To successful person will need to demonstrate the following:
Tertiary Qualifications in Greenkeeping, Agriculture or Horticulture - ESSENTIAL
Extensive background in maintenance of Recreational Turf, Irrigation, Pest and Disease Control experience
AQF3 Chemical Accreditation Ticket
Competent with operation of Golf Course machinery
Have a clear and precise understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
Open Drivers Licence (Manual) is mandatory
Able to work independently and be a self-starter
Great problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
