The Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Manager to take ownership of our Quality Assurance Program (ISO 9001) and food safety management across Compass Group Australia. This role is crucial in ensuring our food safety standards meet regulatory requirements, exceed industry expectations, and uphold our reputation for excellence. You will be responsible for;
Developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety policies, HACCP plans, and ISO 9001 standards.
Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
Investigating food safety incidents, manage non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborating with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to uphold quality and safety standards.
Providing training and guidance to enhance food safety knowledge across the business.
The Person
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in food safety and quality management.
Certification in HACCP or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and ISO 9001 standards.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Experience in multi-site food safety management.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
