THE POSITION:
- Demonstrate your understanding of implementing risk based assessments, root cause investigation and the importance of understanding and applying human factors principles to the management of site based teams
- Work with teams and individuals, lead meetings, pre-starts and safety-related training
- Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health, environment and QA policies and programs
- Undertake incident investigations and reporting
- Drive safety behaviours and culture through Field Leadership activities
THE PERSON:
- Minimum Cert IV in WHS
- Cert IV Training & Assessing (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of two years of experience in Health and Safety, Environmental, Health or similar.
- Experience in incident investigations (ICAM preferred)
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and people safety in a hospitality setting (training also provided)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based software applications and a high level of computer literacy in general;
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
