Sous Chef - Full-Time

$78,000 Annual Salary + 12% Super

We’re on the lookout for a talented Sous Chef or a Chef de Partie ready to elevate their career to the next level, to take ownership of our corporate kitchen operations, crafting everything from scratch and leading a team to deliver exceptional quality every single day.

The Position:

• Food preparation and cooking
• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
• Friendly customer service
• Function work and large volume cooking
• Stocktake and control
• HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
• General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

The Person:

• Minimum Cert III Chef trade qualification
• An understanding of Café style food advantageous
• Highly organised and energetic hands on leader
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating with food safety and allergen management compliance.
• Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable
• Confident in OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
• Willing to work mornings and evenings
