Compass Group Australia will deliver essential support services at the new Footscray Hospital, one of Victoria’s largest health infrastructure projects. We will provide vital services, including patient services, environmental services, food, security, help desk, and more. As a public hospital with clinical services provided by Western Health, this state-of-the-art facility will play a key role in supporting the community—be part of something bigger and help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria.

 THE POSITION

• Receive and distribute medical supplies, consumables, and equipment across hospital departments.
• Maintain clean, organised storerooms with safe and accessible storage of items.
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospital procedures for handling materials.
• Use manual handling equipment safely to transport goods.
• Record stock movements accurately using computer systems.

THE PERSON

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit with knowledge of safe manual handling practices.
• Comfortable using trolleys and other equipment for stock movement.
• Confident using basic computer systems for record-keeping.
• Able to provide or willing to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
