ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high-quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to join our team at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support front-of-house team members during daily operations
• Supervise food and beverage service across dining facilities and hospitality functions
• Coordinate meal services and special event requirements
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Ensure high standards of customer service and presentation
• Assist with staff training, coaching and development
• Support rostering and daily operational requirements
• Promote a positive and professional team culture

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a Supervisor, Team Leader or similar hospitality role
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
• Ability to organise workloads and manage competing priorities
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Current RSA or willingness to obtain
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
