As part of this commitment, we are seeking expressions of interest for a Training Coordinator to assist in delivering training programs at our purpose-built training academy in Cannon Hill.
The successful candidate will work Monday-Thursdays, 7am-5pm.
The Position
Lead, coach, develop and coordinate a team of training facilitators and ensure high standards of performance and compliance.
Ensure that all tasks associated with operations and training, are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety Regulations and are in line with Compass Group Australia’s policies and procedures.
Provide individual evaluations of facilitators and new starters, giving comprehensive training performance outcomes to management and sites.
Promotion of Academy training to clients and internal stakeholders. Being the point of contact for catering events or functions while also implementing an operational plan for our internal stakeholders for such events.
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships within Head Office and identify opportunities for process improvement between recruitment, operations, and safety teams.
Perform other duties within their capabilities as required by Academy Manager and prepare weekly and monthly reports for management.
Manage the training operations, ensuring facilities and equipment are kept to a high standard. Training schedules are maintained weekly, communicated to all facilitators to ensure a smooth and consistent workflow.
Monitor team performance and prepare regular reviews and sector reporting as required.
The Person
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment desirable
Experience in hospitality management environment
Extensive experience in delivering training & facilitation, and leading teams
Experience in catering and kitchen operations desirable
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Sound computer skills
Flexible approach, ability to work under pressure
Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and Approved managers licence (willing to obtain)
Willing to travel to remote locations to conduct training sessions
